Kleptoparasitism
Kleptoparasitism (stealing another's food) is widely performed by Common Terns when spatial distribution is minimal or overcrowding. As early as this photograph was taken during the breeding season, the resources of finding their own food was not limited. However, when the chicks were born, a tenfold increase of stealing occurred.
